Toon® Tablet

Overview
I was a co-designer on the Toon Tablet-app. Together with Unitid and guided by Quby we realised the ‘mobile’ Toon in which all functionality was accessible just by sitting on your couch. I (re) designed the thermostat feature, the graphs and the benchmark feature for the app (among other features, improvements).

Challenges
Translating the functionality of Toon, which is a completely different device with it’s own rules and limitations, to a rich and broad platform like a tablet. Another challenge was to collaborate with third parties: it was a fun and good experience, but the field of energy insights is complicated and difficult to transfer knowledge correctly.
